The role of investigative intuition in the process of crime investigation

This article studies the investigative intuition and and the opportunities for its application by law enforcement officials in crime investigation. The article defines the concept and distinctive features of investigative intuition, the role of intuition in operational investigative activities, in the construction of investigative versions, in the evaluation of evidence, in the preliminary and judicial investigation. The conflict of logic and intuition, as well as the possibility of using investigative intuition by employees of the prosecutor's office is considered.
