The role of mass media in the support of political stability in the modern Russia

The article attempts to correlate the theoretical and practical bases in the systematization of scientific knowledge in the field of mass media support of the political system stability. It is expected that the focus of the journalistic community should be on the legitimation of the political system (media legitimation), implementation of the mobilization potential technology, promotion of security and terrorism countering, ensuring the establishment of feedback channels.
