The article explores the role of social partnership between religious organizations and the government in stabilization of political situation during the post-war period by case study of the Chechen Republic. The authors discuss different forms of the social partnership, consider common and specific tasks of the authorities, the clergy, and religious organizations. It is substantiated a thesis, that without support of the traditional Chechen clergy it wouldn’t have been possible for the federal and regional authorities to obtain appreciable results in counteraction to the religious extremism and radicalism, and eventually to build strong politics during the postwar period in the territory of Chechnya.
