This article focuses on the role of social networks in internet marketing. In particular, the possibilities of advertising on social networks are considered and its popular types are described. Particular attention was paid to targeted advertising, as well as advertising in communities and advertising with bloggers. It was noted that social networks are powerful enough and effective platforms for implementing marketing efforts on the Internet, as well as for conducting marketing research.
