The role of sociology in the modern economy

In the presented article, the authors consider the concept and essence of sociology, its connection with the modern economy, as well as its role in it. The role of language in the phenomenon of the "picture of the world", which contains sociology, is indicated. The subject and object of economic sociology are considered. In conclusion, the conclusion is made about the inextricable connection of economics and sociology, as well as about the similarity of the sociological picture of the world in Russian and English.
