Sovkhozes (Soviet state farms) of Kuban and Stavropole regions taking part in solving food security problems during the Great Patriotic War II (years 1941 - 1945)

The paper considers the production process of Soviet State farms in the Kuban and Stavropole Krays during the Great Patriotic War, aimed at providing the population and the army with food produce. The survey revealed working conditions and orientation of state farms in the period preceding the fascist occupation and in the post-occupation period. Assessment has been made of the contribution of Soviet State farms to food security’ problem solution during the wartime.
