The role of student self-government in the system of patriotic education of the Verkhneuralsk Agro-Technological College - the Cossack cadet corps

In modern society, more than ever before, there is a demand for self-confident business people with a bright personality, with their inherent active civil-patriotic position, capable of making informed decisions, taking responsibility for their actions, and serving the interests of the Fatherland. However, today the loss of the basic national values of Russian society has sharply highlighted the problem of the content of the moral qualities of young people, in particular, civic-patriotic identity, respect for national culture and spiritual traditions, awareness of responsibilities and responsibility to family and society. The article presents the experience of instilling patriotism among college students on the basis of the national and cultural traditions of Cossack self-government through student self-government.
