The article is concerned with the importance of students’ participation in quality management of professional education at colleges. The authors present internal and external factors of students' willingness to participate in a student organization controlling the quality of education. The issue is illustrated by the example of involving the students of Naberezhnye Chelny State Trade Technological Institute into the process of quality management.
