Part taken by judicial bodies in a procedure of dismissal of the head of Russian Federation’ constituent entity having lost the president’s confidence

The paper presented a review of federal acts and law enforcement practices that determined an extent to which the courts should be involved in the procedure of dismissal of the head of a Russian Federation’ constituent entity having lost the President’s confidence. The study examined the main approaches to determine a part the judicial bodies expected to take in applying measures of constitutional amenability and the federal-level party’ involvement. The author inferred that the establishing of the grounds having entailed loss of RF President’ confidence in the head of a RF constituent entity shall require both preliminary and subsequent judicial supervision.
