The role of the customs service in the fight against counterfeit and smuggling

The customs service plays a key role in the fight against counterfeit goods and smuggling. This work includes several important aspects that help to protect the economy and population of the country. The article considers the main areas of activity of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation to combat the illegal import of contraband into the territory of Russia, and also analyzes the main indicators of the law enforcement units of the customs service and the main conclusions of the study.
