National security is the state of protection of the state and society from internal and external threats. The main threat to security during the movement of goods and vehicles across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union comes from subjects of foreign economic activity who carry out crimes and administrative offences. Customs authorities ensure the national security of the country to prevent, detect, suppress and solve crimes and offences, including by monitoring the movement of wild fauna objects across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union. The world of wild fauna is an integral part of the nation ‘s national wealth, so questions about securing it are paramount. The severity of the problem of extermination and trafficking in animals has now become the basis for the establishment of a legal act, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Illegal movement of wild animals refers to high-patent crimes, so animal trafficking requires special control. There are several problems in the field of animal displacement, including the illegality of such capture and displacement; The lack of a legal framework in countries in the form of a legal instrument controlling the trade in valuable animal species; Many hundreds of animal species are not included.
