The role of tolerant relations to condemned within the framework of social rehabilitation

This article considers the need to improve measures for the formation of a tolerant attitude towards convicts on the part of the society. In studying this issue, the essence of tolerance and the need to modernize the social rehabilitation system of the convict, both within and outside the correctional institution, was determined, and the need to study the role of the media in the process of forming a tolerant attitude towards convicts was emphasized. The results of the study are of theoretical significance for the analysis of the work of both penitentiary institutions and rehabilitation centers, whose main activity is helping those released from prison to adapt to life outside the correctional institution.
