The role of issue of securities for geological prospecting and mining companies in investment attraction

The article considers some approaches to the investment attraction by means of issue of securities, such as stocks and bonds, and their placement. The case study of the company that placed its shares at the stock exchange is carried out. The conditions under which the geological prospecting companies can issue securities are described. The author analyzes positive and negative consequences of such an approach both for geological prospecting companies emitting issue of securities and for their investors. The advantages of the geological prospecting companies capable to refinance the issued securities are discussed. The paper presents the formulas for investment assessment in case of placement of company's securities. Based on the general study the value of the considered approach is deduced.
