The role of the Natural Reserve «Bastak» in maintaining of ecological stability in the Jewish autonomous region

In this article we have expounded basic ecological problems of the Bastack nature reserve and have offered the ways to their solution. The conclusion is made about the necessity of reserve area widening, by means of making cluster sites and a trans-boundary biosphere reserve, in order to maintain the nature reserve and the Jewish autonomous region ecological integrity.
