Russia in the world grain market: role and prospects

The article defines the importance of grain production as the basis of food security of the countries of the world. In this context, Russia is an active participant in solving the global food problem as a grain exporting country. In modern conditions, the state and development of the world grain market turned out to be dependent on political and economic relations between countries, divided into "friendly" and "unfriendly". Sanctions against Russia may lead to a significant reduction in grain exports, the absence of which on the world market will provoke a sharp deterioration in the livelihoods of the population of importing countries. Hence the importance of making adequate decisions on the part of the world community.
