Russian village in the thick of the demographic crisis: political aspect

The article is concerned with the urgent problem of the demographic crisis in the Russian countryside, and the ways to overcome it. The author concludes that the process of urbanization is still in progress, due to which the country is dying off, but the government is capable of preventing the demographic crisis.
