The Russian and Chinese public diplomacy as an instrument of realization of national interests

Chinese public diplomacy is also an important instrument of the country's foreign policy. In China, this mechanism is mainly used in the field of information impact on the implementation of the project "one belt - one road". The country's leadership exercises control over the activities of the institutions of Chinese public diplomacy. The main objectives of this mechanism in China are the promotion of the project "one belt - one road" and the search for foreign investors for its implementation, the promotion of Chinese culture and language abroad, the translation of Chinese values, the creation of a positive image of Chinese manufacturers and products, strengthening the country's position in the region and the world, the representation of China as a successful power that can play the role of a world leader.
