Russian elitology: innovative responses to the challenges of the modern world

The article explores possible innovative responses from the Russian elitology to the challenges of the modern world, analyzes the results of the sociological study that continues the long-term scientific tradition of the Rostov scientific elitological school to study the social status, role and basic characteristics of the modern Russian ruling elite, trends and problems of its development and functioning. The paper formulates a set of measures aimed at solving applied problems and developing practical recommendations for the elimination of problems arising in the course of state and municipal administration.
