Russian political science: myth, reality, possibility?

The paper explores the problem of the possibility of political science existence as a supranational project. The author attempts to justify the statement that today only national political sciences exist and that the most advanced of them is American one. Supranational political science can arise only in the process of synthesis of national political sciences. Russian political science today is at the initial stage of its development and what is more, one usually call the Russian political science actually the American one. Under these circumstances, the effectiveness of modern political science theories in Russian conditions is questionable and Russian political scientist’s ability to integrate into the world political science is negligible.
