Russian historical traditions in the paradigm of economic transformations

The article examines the problems of options for the revival of the Russian economy, its civilizational role in relation to the continuity of advanced thought and traditions of Russian society associated with moral purification, freedom and social justice, generally significant spiritual values, ideals of humanism and patriotism characteristic of Russian economic life. The importance of spirituality, which gives the economic system internal stability and determining development potential, is emphasized. The patterns of formation of the peripheral status of Russia, the loss of subjectivity in such transformation processes are revealed. A conclusion is made about the importance of taking into account historical traditions for understanding the current state of the economy, development prospects in the context of the transformation of world economic relations. It is proposed to consider consumer-value relations as an alternative paradigm of socio-economic development, which can fully meet the requirements of the sovereign route, focusing on spiritual and moral foundations and values. Revealing historical traditions, attention is focused on spiritual foundations that gave Russia internal strength to overcome contradictions and kept pace with the times, filling the goals of development of Russian society with spiritual and moral attitudes.
