Russian arctic project: political goal-setting and expert assessment

The article gives an expediency substantiation (geopolitical, economic, defensive, and infrastructural) of vigorous implementation of the Russian Arctic Project which program is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation in April 2014. The results of the expert survey conducted at the beginning of 2016 among scientists, businessmen, officials, politicians on this problem are analyzed in the article.
