Russian machine-building complex in conditions of digital transformation

This article analyzes approaches to the use of digital transformation within Industry 4.0 at industrial enterprises of the machine-building complex of the Russian Federation. The author presents the main components of Industry 4.0, defines the fundamental principles that allow unlocking the potential of the Industry 4.0 concept, formulates the key technological tasks of the Industry 4.0 concept at an industrial enterprise. It is concluded that in the conditions of digital transformation, domestic machine-building enterprises face new challenges that require their adequate assessment and application of Industry 4.0 tools, taking into account the existing specifics of industrial production. To solve new problems, we need: regulatory standardization and regulation based on the formation of centers of competence, the creation of a unique unified platform and the development of a concept for import substitution of software products necessary for the qualitative development of the information infrastructure of digital engineering, the digital transformation of enterprises in the machine-building complex and the use of digital twins, the development of the information infrastructure necessary for the comprehensive implementation of educational programs, trainings and staff development, the use of advanced information security systems.
