The Russian-Iranian cooperation to deter NATO in Central Asia and the South Caucasus

Russia and Iran share the border with Central Asia and the South Caucasus that implies the threat to Tehran and Moscow and the existence of new opportunities as well. The article analyzes the potential threat of NATO presence in Central Asia and the South Caucasus region to Russia and Iran, indicates areas for future cooperation between the abovementioned states in order to control this threat.
