Russian Cossacks in the political events of the early XX century

The author shows the participation of the Russian Cossacks in the political events of the early twentieth century, draws attention to the desire to revive the Cossack "independence", to the desire to have equal rights with the rest of the population. The author notes that the Cossacks were dissatisfied with the fact that the state is obliged to fulfill their policing duties.
