The Russian peasantry, political organizations and private property: a regional perspective of the period of domestic turmoil

He article discusses the relationship between the peasantry and landowners Simbirsk and Penza provinces during the first Russian revolution. The question of the presence or absence of a direct link between the activities of political organizations and agrarian peasant movement on the territory of Saransk, Insar and Ardatovsky districts.
