Russian education as a factor in preservation and development of the Russian culture and state: current status and urgent tasks

The article proves that the formation of personal worldview grounded by the national cultural values is an important factor of preservation and development of a national state. The author considers an ideology based on fundamental principles of the Russian culture. The study analyzes the contemporary potential of the Russian educational system in resolution of this task. The principles of national school development aimed at the establishment of the nationally-focused ideology are substantiated.
