The article discusses some problematic issues related to the normative law regulation of the activities of operational units of internal affairs bodies and military police bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the search for military personnel who avoid military service. The author also suggests measures to improve operational-search law in order to fill gaps in the legislation on the issue under consideration.
