In this article, we will consider the hand-to-hand combat as a professionally applied sport for Special Rapid Deployment Force officers (SOBR) of the National Guard. We will study the practical applicability of the skills acquired in the course of the hand-to-hand combat training in the professival activities of the units. The article traces the history of the birth and formation of the hand-to-hand combat as an applied kind of sport.
