Russian geographical lexicon with the seme "dry" in dialects of the European North of Russia

The article considers Russian dialect lexemes with the seme "dry". As a result of the study, etymological roots of words are revealed, the proto-Slavic origins of Russian lexemes are described. Ideographic analysis of derivatives is conducted. Frequency of semantic features combinations is examined, which allows for conducting ideographic analysis of lexemes representing the semantics "dry, dried". The metaphors revealed in the material analyzed are mainly based on the anatomic model.
