The Russian revolution and the activity of Vladivostok city duma, 1917-1918

The article is devoted to the activities of the «socialist» Vladivostok City Duma in 1917-1918, that reflects the development of the revolutionary process in Russia and the perception of the revolution by various parties and social groups in the region. The author comes to the conclusion that the «socialist» Duma of Vladivostok represents the example of an alternative way of the development of the revolution in Russia, which could be built on the compromise of different parties and social groups and the creation of a coalition government.
