Russian artists in China

Article is dedicated to one of the most difficult topics - cultural heritage of Russian emigration in China (1922-1940-ies.). For the first time in the Russian historiography, a comprehensive analysis of the achievements of Russian art in Harbin, Shanghai and other Chinese cities. The main sources for this article were revealed in special collections in the United States. Particular attention is paid to the painters, tells about the art societies. Based on a unique source of Russian periodicals in China and other countries are biographies of Russian art in China.
