Russian scholars and Vuk Stefanovi'c Karadzi'c

The article is devoted to the scholarly contacts between Vuk Karadžić and Russian scholars, primarily Peter von Köppen, Izmail I. Sreznevsky, Nikolai I. Nadezhdin, their influence on the works and activities of the Serbian scholar, and the role of Russian scholars in recognition of Karadžić’s reform of Serbian language by the academic community.
