There is no doubt in Soviet historiography known for numerous works, which provides a detailed analysis of the issues of aging prerequisites of a revolutionary situation in the country, achievements of the revolution and its stages, the driving forces of the revolution, which united the working class, the peasantry, the national liberation movement, the army. All of them are in one way or another has played a significant role in the accomplishment of the revolution in Russia in October 1917. The revolution in our opinion, in which the two factors are combined and the tragedy and triumph. Triumph for those who believe in the slogans of the revolution, and they were realized, announced the transfer of land to the peasants, peace, freedom, equality and prosperity. The tragedy for the moribund classes loses power, the right to property, land, spiritual values. It would seem that before the Bolshevik Party and was tasked by the constructive policies do not as strict consequences of this revolution, which would have led to the Civil War. However, it was not possible to achieve this. The civil war was just a factor of the tragedy. A.I. Denikin was in this perspective and evaluates these two social phenomena – the revolution and civil war. At the same time he drew attention to the situ ation of ethnic minorities, giving them characteristics and reveals the role of the state through a national policy in this difficult time in the history of Russia – 1917 – 1920-ies.
