Recently, the mentality, both as a phenomenon inherent in modern society, and as a scientific concept reflecting the specifics of people's behavior under certain circumstances, has attracted a great interest of researchers. As a rule, in scientific researches, this concept is accompanied by clarification of the mentality belonging to a certain nation, people, ethnic group. In fact, the mentality is a multifaceted description of a specific nation (people, nationality) and the characteristics of the behavior of its typical representatives in a particular situation. The main interest in the mentality is the attitude of its bearers to law, to legal phenomena, the presence or absence of legal nihilism, of positive understanding and perception of law. All this has a particular importance in society; the main vectors of society development correspond to the conditions of improving the rule-of-law state.
