Russian way to freedom: a history of the problem

The article is a review of the monograph of V.V. Kochetkov «Constitutionalism and the System of the Russian Government in the late 19th - early 20th Century». In the book the author examines the implementation of the values of constitutionalism in the state law of the Russian Empire in the late late 19th - early 20th century. It is also shown that the archetypes of Russian authority had the impact on this process.
