Russian-French joint strategic plans and their implementation at the beginning of the First World War

At the beginning of the First World War Russia and France made an attempt to implement the joint strategic plan, which was elaborated after signing the bilateral military convention. The author points out that the unforeseen development of the situation resulted in the necessity to reconsider the plan fundamentally.
