The intentionalaspect of the russian-language infographics of the 21st century

The paper is devoted to the study of semiotically heterogeneous texts - inforgraphics, which are an important element of modern communication and are used in various spheres of life. The paper deals with the problem of establishing cognitive connections in the Russian-language infographics. The author proposes her own data classification of print and electronic inforgraphics depending on their purpose and usage range: infographic algorithm, infographic biography, infographic ad, infographic process infographic summary, infographic rating, infographic advertising, infographic recipe, infographic statistical scheme, infographic chronology, infographics of mixed type. The aim of the study is to establish the author’s intentions in Russian infographics of different types and to predict the perception of these intentions by the addressee of infographics taking into account their language characteristics. It is proved that the main author’s intentions of all types of infographics are giving information and having impact. Additional intentions (analysis, comparison, motivation, organization, gradation, interpretation, fixation, sequence, dynamics, stadialnost, detail, functionality, explanation, entertainment, search, training, presentation, surprise, identification, evaluation, persuasion, practice, leadership, stimulation, call, proposal, attraction, recognition, presentation, communication) are identified depending on the type of infographics. The means of their implementation at the lexical, morphological and syntactic levels of utterances are characterized, and it is shown that additional intentions determine the way of perception of infographics. The results of the study expand the understanding of semiotic heterogeneous texts and can be used to create information graphics in Russian, which will allow for effective communication with a variety of target audiences at a qualitatively new level.
