Fish population in mountain lakes of western slopes of Polar and Pre-Polar Ural

In work results for the first time researches of diversification the fish population of 95 mountain lakes of Pre- Polar and Polar Urals Mountains lead to 1996-2009 are presented. At rather low specific diversification of fishes for the majority of surveyed lakes the expressed originality of species composition, and also multiple in-fraspecific frame is characteristic. In the studied mountain lakes of region 16 kinds of fishes concerning to 9 families and 4 fish fauna complexes - Arctic fresh-water, boreal foothill, boreal flat and pontokaspian fresh-water are established. The received stuffs testify about rather high in the whole level of biological diversifica-tion of fish part in water assemblages of mountain lakes, its connection having expressed adaptive value with glacial history of Urals Mountains and parentage substantially caused by mutual influence of Siberian and European faunas in zone of their contact on border of Pechora, Ob and Kara rivers watersheds.
