Residential mortgage market in the Vologda oblast: problems, trends, prospects

The article reviews the history of mortgage establishment and development, and provides legal interpretations of mortgage and real estate. It gives a brief characteristic of the emergence of mortgage in Russia and reveals some problem issues of current bank mortgage. The article contains a research on the main parameters of mortgage market in the Vologda Oblast banking institutions. It provides the data on housing construction and on the implementation of the state municipal housing programme in the region. In addition, the development trends and prospects of residential mortgage market are defined.
