2020 was a truly serious test for the entire world community. In addition to a huge blow to the entire healthcare system, we understand that Covid-19 was the igniter of the combustion process (economic crisis), which, according to many experts, will have a more significant impact on the world community than the 2008 crisis. Many experts discuss how Covid-19 will affect the strategic development vector of many countries of the world programs to minimize CO2 emissions into the environment and transform the fuel and energy complex with an emphasis on the transition to clean energy. Electric car manufacturing is one of the key elements in the development of a renewable energy system and minimizing harmful emissions into the environment. In connection with the fall in oil prices after Russia's withdrawal from the OPEC+ agreement and global self-isolation, in which there was a historical drop in traffic, both in road transport and air transportation, the obvious question arises: what will happen to the market of electric and gasoline engines in the future ? We will try to answer this question and the question of what is happening on the automotive industry market under the conditions of the "Great Quarantine" in this article.
