Russian market of initial public offering: current state and future prospectives

Ensuring technological and financial sovereignty of Russia requires supporting the functioning of economic entities with financial resources in the context of limited access to external sources. One of the options for attracting financing for companies is the implementation of an initial public offering of shares. The purpose of the study is to analyze the current state and determine the development prospects of the Russian initial public offering market in the context of tough monetary policy. Using statistical and comparative analysis methods, the authors assessed the dynamics of the Russian initial public offering market indicators for the period since 2002, and identified the main factors hindering its development. Based on the presented analysis, market development directions were formulated, the elaboration of which will allow the full realization of the potential of the initial public offering market and contribute to the achievement of the national development goal of doubling the capitalization of the stock market by 2030.
