S. Ya. Erbanova in the information space of the first quarter of the 21st century

The article aims to analyze the information spheres of the first quarter of the 21st century that reflect the personality of a prominent representative of Buryatia in the 20th century - Savranna Yakovlevna Erbanova (1903-1987). Continuously evolving public memory conveys the historical fate of peoples through the stories of their outstanding figures of the past. The author notes that there remains a sustained interest in the public and professional activities of S. Ya. Erbanova. The socio-economic transformations initiated by her generation continue to be reflected in the modern information space. Periodical press, published personal memoirs, various online encyclopedias, posts in Russia's and the CIS countries’ largest social network, “VKontakte”, as well as newly introduced archival data, contribute to the formation of an information space about the history of this remarkable woman. This, in turn, influences the interconnections within collective historical memory and the development of society.
