Sambo as an integral element of professional and applied physical training of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

This article reveals the actual problems of SAMBO as an integral element of professional and applied physical training of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The article explains the content of the concept of «sambo» Special attention is paid to the history of the emergence and development of SAMBO as one of the types of martial arts in Russia, what significance it had during the Great Patriotic War. In this article two directions of sambo are proposed and considered. In the work, the author focuses on the theoretical and practical knowledge of employees of the Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the field of studying such martial arts as sambo. The article summarizes some results on the training of cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and employees of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the field of sports sambo. This view will be of interest to specialists in the field of sports, law enforcement and scientific activities.
