Introspection and self-criticism shown by the Russian intelligentsia in the XIX - early XX centuries, prior to publishing of the collection "Vekhi" ("Milestones")

The paper explored conceptual and political trends that had grown in the coterie of Russian intelligentsia in the XIX to early XX centuries, the period prior to publicizing the Collection «VEKHI» (Milestones), and studied raising of self-actualization of the Russian intelligentsia as well, being followed by critical reflection of this (social) group on their own core and the part taken.
