Introspection of the Russian intelligentsia: "Vekhi" ("Landmarks") and their criticism

This article analyzes the collection of philosophic essays “Vekhi" as the most significant attempt of the Russian intelligentsia to implement critical analysis of their own cultural and political activities. The author reviews the criticism of the “Vekhi" carried out by one of the most thoughtful and thorough researchers of the Russian culture and the Russian intelligentsia -P.N. Milyukov.
