The article analyzes the results of the last parliamentary elections in Finland, held on April 02, 2023, where the opposition center-right National Coalition Party (NCP) won. The author considers the importance of elections and political parties for the life of any country, demonstrates the rules of conducting parliamentary elections in Finland, enshrined in legislation. The paper studies political parties of Finland that joined the coalition government after the 2023 elections and their views on the possibilities of the country's exit from the economic crisis and carries out a brief analysis of the annual rule of the ruling coalition led by Petteri Orpo. The author presents the latest historical events that have changed the political situation, mainly due to the unforeseen results of the parliamentary elections, and, as a result, the destruction of trade and economic relations with the Russian Federation, taking into account Finland's accession to NATO
