Self-organization of student youth: main trends and prospects for development

The article examines the main trends and prospects for the development of various forms of student youth self-organization. The activities of student councils, clubs, and other youth associations are described in detail. Attention is also given to the activities of volunteer and informal communities. The conclusion is drawn that individualization, horizontal connections, and the use of modern technologies will play an increasingly significant role in the formation of future student initiatives. By organizing and acting together, students can exert considerable influence on decisions made by authorities and shape the future contours of social development.
