Self-consciousness: multidimensionality, phenomenality and reality of existence

The article applies systemic and analytical approaches to study the self-consciousness and the ways of its development. The author makes a conclusion that the self-consciousness is a complex multi-component open self-regulatory system, each component of which has a furcate structure with interrelated elements. The research of self-consciousness appears to be inho-mogeneous, since cognitive and emotional components of the self-consciousness are investigated thoroughly, while the behavioural component remains poorly studied.
