Self-government of Cossack villages in Kuban at the end of the 18th – the end of the 19th centuries (based on legislation materials)

In the article the changes in the system of local administrative self-government of Kuban villages at the end of the 18th – the end of the 19th centuries are considered. The aim of the research is the study of the reforms carried out by the imperial government of the Russian Empire concerning self-government in Cossack villages as a result of which contradiction in the policy of the state authorities concerning the Cossacks developed.
