Self-employment in Russia

The significance of the study of the topic of self-employment of the population is undoubted, since this is a new status in Russian legislation, and therefore little studied. The article highlights the general understanding of the self-employed, describes the main provisions of their activities, analyzes the dynamics and structure of the number of self-employed. The author notes that despite the pandemic, the sanctions of Western countries and the United States, the number of self-employed people in the country continues to grow and the amount of taxes they pay to the budget is increasing.
